system can be laid on any existing cement floor which meets conventional standards, with
no problem at all, as well as on floors which are already tiled - even after they have
been completed, and without the need for chiselling work. Simply secure the heating system
by adhesive bonding, height about 6 mm including earthing, lay tiles, and it's finished.
As a rule, for example, you can leave kitchen furniture exactly where it is. Start-up time
is about 30 to 45 minutes. Controls are the same as for the Nova system. Ultraflat floor
heating from Sonnstrahl is also very often laid on top of water-operated floor heating
systems, in part areas or full-surface. The reason for this is optimisation of comfort,
support for the system during the periods before and after the heating season so as to
bring down general operating costs or to support ceramic stoves, and to optimise the
heating environment. The same principles apply with normal central heating systems.
Application in the entire living area, bathrooms, indoor swimming pools, bars and
restaurants, offices and industry, horticultural facilities, open-air stairways, access
ways to garages, and many other situations. Output per square metre 80 to 320 Watt, 110
and 220 Volt AC or DC, full screening, waterproof - and equally effective in old buildings
or new ones.
